I don't know why you wouldn't want the heirloom. It's a class-based retrain of the Slug Rifle, and has the Frost Element at Legendary, making it easy to hit multiple times.

Also, given the RNG nature of Forging Weapons, it's natural to sometimes get Heirloom Rifles or Shredders instead of Sniper Rifles. If you want to guarantee a Sniper Rifle, there is a Forge Talent that will help you do that.

yeah go to armory -> assasin ->loadout->weapon forge and there you can choose to forge sniper as first forged weapon. unless youre level isnt high enough.

Have you even played more then a handful of matches? You get the ability to forge the weapon you want after a certain level. Though of course you'd use the sniper, the easiest and most broken weapon and class ingame. Haha.

Heirloom is one of the best weapons. It has bloom (which is negated by giant bullet magnetism) but it's a slightly nerfed slug that you can spam. Heirloom + Sniper + Sensor + Conc + Blink is the best class in the game currently.

I saw someone make a tier list and he put sniper way down and of course he mains assassin. Everyone with a brain knows the sniper is the best weapon in the game.
