File Not Found Error 23 When I Start Campaigns [SOLVED]
I get this error when i start a coop or singleplayer campaign:
https://imgur.com/a/ol0kBRf

Those are what i did and did not work:
1. When i check %TEMP% folder, there is not a file as specified in this error, so the game can't too obviously.
2. I verified the game files.
3. I reinstalled the game.
4. I don't have any mods.

I could not find any fix. What should i do?

Solution
1. Go to "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp" folder.
2. Give your active user full permission to %TEMP% folder.
3. Run the game, check if it is fixed, then you are done.
4. If not fixed check if there is a file named "AOE2DE_TEMP" in %TEMP% folder.
5. If there is not, then create one. Give yourself full permission to the file you've created.
6. Run the game.

Legend
%TEMP% = "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp"

I found the solution. I hope it helps if anyone else had this issue.
1. Go to "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp" folder.
2. Check if there is a file named "AOE2DE_TEMP".
3. If there is not, then create one.
4. Run the game.

Important note: There was something wrong with %TEMP% folder of mine. Even i am administrator, i had no access to %TEMP% folder. So i changed access permissions to the way that gives me full access. If this is the case for you too, you should what i did.

Thank you so much for this!
I tried many different things i found on the internet and installed the game multiple times but nothing worked.
The reason were the access permissions.
Although i had administrative rights on my PC, the user i am on had no rights in the 'TEMP' folder, i had to add my user in the security tab.

I didn't even need to create the folder by myself, it just worked after i gave the rights to my user.

Thanks again!
