Could you please state which graphic cards you have?
Does this only happen in multiplayer or single player or in both?
Gracias!
Me pasa en ambos modos de juego
Could you please submit the following files:
1. Your DxDiags (setup files): https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052783111-How-to-find-information-for-troubleshooting-with-Support
2. You recent crash files (from the last 7 days), found here: “C:\Users\USER\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\logs”
They have this format: "AoE2DESteam-58115-2022.01.19-15.05.33.mdmp".
3. If you have no crash files from the last 7 days, please check if you have recent (last 7 days) dmps here: C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
There should be .dmp files in this folder with a name like this "AoE2DE_s.exe.2012.dmp"
You can send these to us by uploading them to gofile.io and sharing the generated link in a new comment here in this thread.
Gracias!

Same thing happening to me. Tried work-around, still no luck. Should I also submit a recorded game?
I have the exact same problem recently, there seems to be a massive memory leak. I can see the memory usage go up to 16GB in a matter of minutes, frame rate hits rock bottom (literally a slideshow), and the game crashes within 5-10 minutes of starting it. This is regardless of how much free memory I started with or the number of units. The game ran fine just a few weeks ago (probably before the last update). Loading the saved game repeats the cycle: fine at first, memory usage increases until crash.
I verified the game files and I don't have any mods, added the game folder to Microsoft Virus & Threat Protection's exclusion list. My graphic drivers can't really be at fault if the game was fine before, can they. Closing programs before just means the crash happens a bit later (tried that anyway)
Hi Turquito, thank you for your submission. Could you please check this filepath: C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
Do you have any AoE2DE_s.exe.[numbers].dmp files there? Your logs unfortunately did not contain any crash files.
Thank you!
