Can't login into Xbox Live
When I click to sing in, it begins to automatically log in, but gives me the following message (translated):

"Something went wrong

There has been a problem in this Microsoft account. You can solve this by logging from your browser at account.live.com"

I have no problems logging in from my browser, but it doesn't solve the in-game issue.

There may actually be a way:

If you can, please open Internet Explorer and clear the cache of cookies. It looks like the in-game login utilizes IE as its portal to Xbox Live, so clearing the cache and cookies there may let you re-enter your credentials and bypass the issue.

Let me know if that works for you!

-Try checking your account settings when logged into the browser. Do you see anything out of the ordinary? Do you have more than one account?

Thank you for the quick response!

I didn't see anything out of the ordinary in the settings.

I do have two accounts. The second one I intended to create just for this but I ended up bailing on it. This was some two months ago now and I've already forgotten the login details of that account since I never ended up using it. Maybe the game is trying to connect to that account? Back then the game prompted me to provide email and password, but now it tries to log in automatically and doesn't tell me which account it's for. Is it possible to make the game "forget" which account to look for so I can do this all over again?

-Not too sure but....try this:

It sounds like an account may already be logged in to Xbox Live outside of the game. Here's a few things you can try:
Visit https://account.xbox.com/ and try logging out from there, Launch the game and see whether you can log in.
Search your Windows machine for the Xbox Console Companion and make sure you are signed in with the correct account.
Make sure you are signed into Windows using the Microsoft account tied to your Xbox Live account.
Once you've done so, re-launch the game and see whether you can log in. If any of those steps, let me know and I'll add the solution to our internal knowledgebase.

Good luck!

- I tried logging out at account.xbox.com but I get the same error message.

- Xbox Companion seems to display the correct account. Also logging out from that doesn't fix the issue.

- I signed into Windows using the main account but it didn't help.

I'm somewhat convinced that the game is stuck with the abortive second account. I never fully logged into the game with it but I went most of the way. If there were a way to return my game to a point where it's asking an email and password again I imagine it would work.
