Issues Signing into Xbox Live while in game from steam.

I bought the game in Steam and was able to sign into xbox live but none of my friends for some reason could invite me so i had to sign out of live. now when i click on the sign in button it clicks but never signs in....I also have the xbox app and tried launching the game from there knowing i am already signed into Xbox Live in the App on my Win 10 PC. Anybody else having this issue?

Unable to Login XBOX Live Account

Hey all. Im trying to login to my XBOX account to get the event achievemnt, but while i click on the login button in the main menu i just getin white empty site popped up and a script error.

Any solutions?

Cant sign in to xbox live

It opens a windows with a picture when i click sign in but nothing on it.

It sounds like an account may already be logged in to Xbox Live outside of the game. Here's a few things you can try:

• Visit https://account.xbox.com/ and try logging out from there, Launch the game and see whether you can log in.
  
• Search your Windows machine for the Xbox Console Companion and make sure you are signed in with the correct account.
  
• Make sure you are signed into Windows using the Microsoft account tied to your Xbox Live account.

Once you've done so, re-launch the game and see whether you can log in. If any of those steps, let me know and I'll add the solution to our internal knowledgebase.

Nope that did not work at all....i tried all your suggestions still nothing happens in the game whenever i click on the xbox live button

Can't login into Xbox Live

Before I could enter my Xbox Live account inside the game, but during the second day of the event I can no longer click on the "Start Session on Xbox Live" tab but nothing happens.

Anyone have any solution?

Can you please try clearing the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer and then re-launch the game? It looks like the in-game login utilizes IE as its portal to Xbox Live, so clearing the cache and cookies there may let you re-enter your credentials and bypass the issue.

Let me know if that works for you!

That worked!!!!! I was able to sign into xbox live in AOE once i deleted the cache and cookies

It doesn't work for me.

I was experiencing the above issue where the pop-up sign in window would open with just a background and no solutions above worked. I have found a solution that hopefully works for others. It appears you need JavaScript enabled in Internet Explorer (Not Microsoft Edge) in order for the script that runs in the pop-up window to work.

You can search online for "enable JavaScript Internet Explorer" to get a detailed guide for this. Clear the cache/cookies as suggested above, have AoE2 DE closed and then re-open it to try sign in again.

Also a gentle reminder for those who might not have automatic time sync turned on, the login button WON'Tdo anything if you do not have your time synced properly.

Given that in Europe we just had daylight savings applied, some clocks may be running on 1 less hour than usual which may be the issue here, please sync your time and try again.

This was the issue for me. Time sync and DST was off.
