Armenian Icon does not unlock after winning 10 battles

I won at least 10 or more battles without cheating, but Armenian Icon does not unlock and I am assuming the Georgian Icon is bugged as well, but I think that these bugs are dlc related instead of basegame. I am able to unlock other icons (including the newest civs from Chronicles: Battle for Greece), but have not been able to unlock icons for the Armenians and Georgians. Is anyone else having this problem? Will it ever get fixed?

Eventually the icon does unlock, but defenitly after more than 10 games. I tried it myself and I got both Armenian and Georgian icons, until I quit the game and started it again the next day. Seems the win progress of these two civs resets each time you shut down the game. That's why some people also have the problem of unlocking the "Age of Empires" achievement.

It has been going on for a long while and does not seem to be their priority to fix. Hopefully in the future...

I appreciate the response. I eventually got the Age of Empires achievement, but not for unlocking the Armenian and Georgian Icons. I have never seen Armenian and Georgian icons unlocked, but perhaps I might notice this if I win 10 skirmishes in a day where I try to win each skirmish as quickly as possible if want the icon unlocked in a single day by winning 10 skirmishes on easiest difficulty on 1v1. If I set the image to Armenian icon once unlocked the game theoretically speaking should not forget that I unlocked it. I have only noticed this bug with Armenian and Georgian icons, but not with other civ icons.

Unfortunately, the Armenian and Georgian icons not unlocking are not the only bugs. My game also forgot that I won 500 games despite the fact I selected heavy cavalry archer. If I remove that selection and switch to something else I may not be able to use that again. I thought this bug was only dlc related, but apparently basegame related as well.

It was possible for a short time after the release of the DLC. Only in a later update were the civs grayed out again and can no longer be won permanently. But if you only want the icon, you can upload it yourself.

The win 500 games achievement that bugged out reappeared again where the bug was gone for a second time. It is a basegame bug contrary to the Armenian and Georgian icons, but with what you mentioned I did not know that. Thank you.

I tried to figure out how to unlock the icon mentioned by drzm2020, but I cannot find it. If there is an Armenian icon mod I cannot find it. Something can only be "uploaded" if it is mod related.

I think that the Armenian and Georgian icons can only be unlocked if winning 10 skirmishes as quickly as possible on 1v1 easiest difficulty, starting the game from Imperial Age or at least the Castle Age, and on fast speed. Then select the icon once unlocked and keep it until ready to use a different icon. I have not tested that method yet at least partially because it seems like a waste of time, but it should work.

Sorry for the unclear description. It is not a MOD. What I did was the following: copy/paste player icon, modified a bit with “paint”. Then uploaded with “edit own avatar”.

It is not a Steam Avatar. It is an icon inside of the game that I cannot unlock. I want the icon in game and not on my Steam profile, but I appreciate that you made it more specific. I think there are only a few ways to get this icon. Either Steam avatar or play 10 skirmishes as quickly as possible to get icon in game like I mentioned earlier within a single day, select icon, and use the icon until ready to use a different one.
