Going above and beyond cheat doesn't work AT ALL

As I wrote in the title, I was sooo bloody eager to see this new cheat code in action but NOPE, my usual luck. It seems like it's accepting it in a normal game against the AI but nothing happens and it doesn't want to work. Anyone can help me understand why?

Good day, everyone! We'd like to see if we can learn more about why this issue is affecting some of you. If you would, we'd like your help generating a detailed log that will help us dig into the issue:

1. In Steam, right-click on the game and select Properties
   
2. Select ‘Set Launch Options…’, and enter the following in the box that appears: VERBOSELOGGING LOGSYSTEMS=Networking
   
3. Launch a multiplayer match or other type of match where you encounter the issue. Use the cheat and verify that it did not work.
   
4. Exit out of the game entirely.

This should create a log file in a location similar to the following:

• C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\age2_x1\Logs

The file will be named something like “2019.09.13-08.46.42.txt”. Please upload that file to a OneDrive or Google Drive folder and then share the link below; I will then pass that file to our development team so they can figure out what's happening.

I tried this step by step but for some reason there is no "age2_x1" folder in the "local" folder.

Interesting. No folder or log is created when you exit the game?

For everyone: is this still an issue and whether anyone has generated a networking log if it is. Please let me know; otherwise I will assume this is no longer an problem and will close out our task with our QA team.

It's still an issue. I tried to create a log yesterday by following your instructions but I couldn't find the folder either. (It might take a while until I answer again because university is though right now. 3 exams next week...)

It still isn't working. Here's an example log. In my case, I didn't find the log in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\age2_x1\Logs, but rather in C:\Users\[Username]\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\logs.

HELLO? NEED DEV RESPONSE PLEASE, HAS BEEN 45 DAYS SINCE LAST UPDATE ON THIS, ACROSS MULTIPLE THREADS.

According to the team, the logs provided have consistently shown that the individuals did not sign into Xbox Live during the duration of the event. As this is a requirement to maintain any unlocks acquired during any of the events, you will unfortunately have to wait until the next opportunity it becomes available to unlock the cheat code.

During future events, make sure you log into Xbox Live at least once to ensure that all of your unlocks are maintained. If this ever changes, it will be mentioned in the update notes.
