Massive lag spikes / performance issues at the beginning of the game

I'm not using a good pc for the game but it was doing fine until lord of west expansion. since last expansion, after i play for 1 hour, sometimes im getting huge performance issues i.e: massive lags, very low fps for both multiplayer and single player.

I never experienced something like that before. its not happen everytime but when it do, only restarting the pc helps for %100 (sometimes restarting the game works too but sometimes it gets worse). I think since new expansion, game uses so much Ram or Processor Power.

It is happening usually at beginning of the game, and if somebody pauses and we wait for a bit, sometimes it is fixed. but during age ups im getting lag spikes again. it also lags other players too btw.

And its not exactly about my pc. as i said, im using an old laptop but i am still managing to get smooth games many times even in team games, so its more about memory usage problem of the game itself

Update: Hotfix has improved perfomance a bit, but i am still getting lagspikes and shuttering after 1 hour. since hotfix, i no longer getting completely frozen, but im still dropping to 3 fps occasionally, just it is recovering by itself quickly. it still needs another fix

If you are using Malwarebytes, the ransomware protection is causing lag spikes. You can add the program to the allow list to prevent it.
