Vlad Dracula bug
in scenario 2 of the Vlad Dracula campaign the buildings that you capture just seem to auto-delete themselves mid-game all of a sudden. This is a game breaking bug as it makes it impossible to use a castle since the scenario does not allow you to build castles, and it makes capturing buildings pointless since the important buildings like the monastery for instance just auto-delete themselves shortly after you do.

I have the exact same issue, I thankfully had only one castle captured at the time it happened for me, and when I got the second one much later it didn't delete. It seems to either be time gated (aka it needs 20-30 minutes of ownership to pass to delete) or it's a mid scenario trigger that's bugging out, at least that would be my guess.

This happened to me too when I researched masonry at the university, did you also research this tech?

I noticed that the buildings that can be captured seem to have negative hp. My guess is that they're set this way from the start to prevent buildings from being destroyed by attacks. Since masonry updates the max hp of buildings, researching it may also update the system to recognise that the building is below 0 hp, instantly destroying all the capture-able buildings you currently own.

Just my hypothesis though. I told my friend to play the same campaign and not research masonry and he didn't have this bug in his playthrough :)

This is it! I completely forgot about it! The game has typical old code problems, one of which is that it can only handle so much value. If you play with 256xTech mod you can only research masonry to the point of buildings having around 32k health, above that it goes into negative and the buildings delete upon completion because the game can't handle it. In that scenario the buildings are already in the negative but they are kind of suspended in it because it's a scenario, so when you research masonry it kind of "reboots" them, the game reloads their numbers, realizes they're in the negative and they get destroyed. You are absolutely right.

I get what your saying, and this same thing actually happened to me in scenario 2 of Ivaylo campaign where you have to control the wonder and hold it for a certain amount of time. I lost the scenario because the wonder just auto-deleted itself just like the buildings in the Dracula mission.

Also the Siege Workshop crashes even without Masonry, once the Imperial Age is researched.
