There are 8 Oracles. If you go to hints it tells you if the mission have an aura quest. There are 3 buff for each faction, spartans start with one. They're in these missions: Greeks Bearing gifts, The ionian revolt, Chasing smoke, The battle of marathon, Raise the sails, Divine salamis, I am brasidas, Pyres of the coast. You need to finish the quest and choose an aura also don't forget to save your choices at start.

Not sure. I picked randomly but different aura.

I'm certain you don't need to replay missions and pick all variants of it. Make sure to check each map and ensure you don't miss a single Oracle (Priestess) or a Smith guy in Spartan missions. You can exclude the first mission and last three mission of the Grand campaign.

I also don't understand what we're talking about here? Aura from who?

From Oracles in Persian and Athenian campaigns, and smiths in Spartan.

requires you to earn a specific set of auras.

To unlock this achievement,
you need to have the following auras active at the same time:

Trade Profit - Increases the amount of resources gained from trade.
Military - Increases the attack of your military units.
Economy - Boosts the gathering rate of resources.

Make sure you have these auras activated in your game
to unlock the "Leader of Men" achievement. Good luck
That's wrong - unrelated. The achievement is related to heroes' auras, not buildings.

Do you think I can just stop once I get the aura or do I need to finish the mission for it to count

Regarding the smiths I found two of them. One in mission 16 where you need to bring 10 goats and one in mission 17 where you need to kill some lions. Im also missing only this achievement, I guess I missed an oracle somewhere.

Same here, I've tried the Oracle on the Marathon Scenario, I've tried save and loading switching all 3 auras and it didn't unlock... only achievement missing as well...

In "I am Brasidas" there's a Greedy Smith's hidden side quest as well where you need to bring 8 goats to get an aura (ugh that's a long one)

Just on the safe side, I opted out to finish the question.

Once you start/load a mission, click Yes to let the game save your choices. I recommend doing it in order.

You don't need to switch all available aura. Just make sure throughout your playthrough you don't miss any temple and the smith guy.

AFAIK I didn't miss the Oracle and I encountered 2 Smith dudes, do you know if there are others?

I'm sure there are 7 instance of Oracle in first 15 missions. However, the last Athenian mission has an Oracle but no aura.

I just escort the cart toward her place.

Always press "Yes" when pop up prompts the choice. Otherwise the game won't registered your choice.
