Pause in RANKED game

It was unlimited before. Now, seems you can pause the game only 10x times. This match just started (less 1 min) and they need pause already. Wtf.

How new pause does it work? 10x times but how much time for each pause, unlimited? 10x for team or for each player in team (20 in total here)?

This is terrible anyway. Pause must be fully deactivated from all ranked games. Or another variant (from CS:GO): only ONE time + only one minute + you can see timer how long time is left.

10x times for pause during ONE game (ussually its 20-40 mins on 1000 elo) - its too much, absolute wrong decision. Especially if with unlimited time for each pause. And without timer how long time is left.

only one time for pause for one team + only one minute (no one can`t unpause during this minute) + and visible timer with time remaining and I can move away from my pc during this pause.

Unexpected IRL stuff such as someone ringing at your door, a phone call etc can happen. That's why having a pause in first place is a good idea.

By the way, there is an etiquette when pausing an MP game. The person calls the pause usually writes something like "sec". Before the game is unpaused, the player writes something like "sry, go?"

Why are you so mad all the time about everything? Mad about the ELO system, mad that people pause the game sometimes.

If somebody pauses the game without saying anything, ask why they paused. If you get no response after a couple of minutes I say you're game to unpause. If they did not say anything.

But I think in 90%+ of the time somebody says something in my matches.

Oh I do understand your point. I just wanted to point out that people usually know that there's a certain etiquette.

While I'm not that active in TGs, our 1v1 Elo is roughly in the same region (AoE2insights says your PB is 1057 while mine was something like 1040). So in that region people usually know how to behave.

As a comrade said from above: there are rules of etiquette. If someone paused - he must to write anything, not me. If he is bad guy who does not consider it necessary to write something in his justification - why I must to present any my free time for him?!

About elo system and matchmaking for TEAM games.
Its obvious trash. Its absolutely not acceptable in team games if you playing with random people. My elo always down to 800 from 1000 in team games. Very often come across "geniuses" who:
- have ultra low elo in solo. Like from 262 to 600 elo. Obviously, such weak players cannot play well at a 900+ elo level.
- waiting IMP and only after it - they can get FIRST attack. Its 40+ mins of waiting.
- create a half-map wall. Not always of stone even.
- surrender on the first enemy attack even if I am achieved great success in attacking my enemy and he is almost defeated.

You have not this problem with matchmaking because you play only 1v1 or playing with a friend in a team but never with randoms?

Primarily a 1 vs 1 player. I play a team match every once in a while. I have also played a fair number of team games with friends. Which I highly recommend for map vetoes and general enjoyment. I don't think it's impossible to claim team games solo.

Probably best to play civs you can out boom or out rush your enemies But this is off topic.

Try to play some games with randoms and then come to here. I will be interested to look at your experience with 262-600 elo geniuses

I have played with random players. It's probably 60/40 friends to randoms

Good for you.
But I have only one friend for this game with same rank. He found me on this forum and added me. But he not active and we not played much. Soo, all my team games were played with random strangers.

i play mainly team games ranked solo. The only exception to this was i duo with one of my friend for like 20 games. I got to 1.4k.

i mean we already went around in circle. I am open up to explaining how matchmaking works again if u are willing to listen this time.
