New Advanced Setting

What if at skirmish under advanced settings you could click a box where it was written: Automatically upgrade to next age. It could be a Quality of Life (QoL) update.

You mean when you have enough resources? What if you have the resources to advance to Castle but you actually want to put them to a different use?

Usually its obvious that when you have saved so much resources youre going to advance to next age. At least if youre a low Elo player.

Ex when youre under siege it saves time. If you are busy attacking enemy and forget about it. You lose time. If you want a more fast-paced game. Im not sure if i would like it myself but i would like to try it. Maybe especially if you play against AI that hits all icons immediately anyway.

In a way its comparable to a sort of stop-loss function at a stock exchange.

Spending the res on 10 knights instead of Imp into gg might be a better move often.
Learn to watch TC production in the top corner.
I even have a hotkey for ageing up.
It needs learning to play, not QoL.

So its possible to set that into a single hotkey? I use H+Z then a number to get back in war zone.

I have select Town Center on Tab and Age up on Z, when you have resources it takes 2 seconds to age up without clicking

@OBD: Haha. The best acronym and funny idea ive ever seen for this game. Its a pain getting my little finger, pinkie down-left to Z. One of the worlds best piano players were born with a long pinkie. 1-2 mm longer then his longest finger. So im tinkering with a solution. I'll add cap, hat homemade in tree to set at top of my pinkie so i save 1-3 sec for each age up. Which i sell for $ 100 a piece. High Elo players are eligible to buy one in gold. Studies show an increase in win rate at 1,3%. It may be difference between lose-win. Is that considered cheating? I would rather say a sort of Biologically Inspired Home Made Human Enhancement (BIHMHE). As it has limitations (only a 99,99999% hit rate) and high cost, most players would prefer to use the new NOOB button.
