I used to mainly play with the AI for years. They're usually just as fun as with other people.
The campaign related achievements are among the least unlocked achievements in AoE 2 DE, so I actually think the vast majority plays either Single Player skirmish or MP games with friends/randoms vs AI.
As for Agent - that's 7.50 $ per civ but considering you've got endless replayability, that's still a reasonable price.
Personally, I'm VERY happy as those two are real medieval powerhouses and I waited for a long time.
Now if only we would get Tibetans and more Mesoamerican civs...
The vast majority of 2's addons starts with "The":
- The Conquerors
- The Forgotten
- The African Kingdoms
- The Last Khans (Included for free in DE)
- The Mountain Royals
Considering the majority of SP oriented gamers tend to not care for achievements, i am not sure thats a good take from that statistic.
I have 2 or 3 completed in a few different campaigns in at a given time. So it might not tell a whole story.
About the new content, seem like we have some kinds of new buildings:
- The Mule Cart.
- Fortified Church that is just Monastery having a night with TC.
- Some notable Unique researches.
- Caravanserai is no longer unique.
Just wait until you play literally any other game and have to pay 20 bucks for a single character reskin or 50 dollars for a single vehicle.
I am not certain about this, but the mule cart I think might be unique to just the Georgians and Armenians meaning that not every civilization is going to get them. I also knew about the Caravansrai, but since I did not really know as to how much helpful it is I never built it. For players who do not trade from the market, apparently its only other purpose is healing units similar to what the monk and various other buildings do when garrisoning.
Id much prefer the new civ/s get bonuses for these modified mechanics and some/all of the other civs can access them where applicable.
