Mods are disappearing
Title. When I resuscribe to them and I restart the game, a lot of mods are disappearing,

First go ingame and re-subscribe to all the mods you've lost. Make sure to click Open Directory button to open the folder where the mods are. This will open a random mod folder. After that close the game this is important. And leave it closed.
Now try to click on the path destination on the folder that opened and revert it back to mods, you want to go back a few folders to the folder named mods. If done correctly you will see 2 folders local and subcribed and you're done with first step. If this is too hard just press WINDOWS KEY+R and type c:\users\%USERNAME%\games and this will direct you to the DE folder, find your correct profile and click mods.

Now you want to open the subscribed folder with all your newly downloaded mods and select all of them and press copy. Go back to mods folder again and find the local folder. Copy and paste all the mods inside. After all the files have been copied into the local folder you can try to boot up the game again. It should work now, let me know if there is any problems.

EDIT: Apparently they have fixed it now. Recent news: An issue with Age of Empires II DE mods unsubscribing has been corrected. If there are any mods missing from your subscribed list, once you resubscribe to them, they should remain subscribed.

So there should no need to do this.

Same! I noticed when I played the first game, restarted the game and now half of the mods are just gone from the list. And now also I don't know the name of the mods I had so don't know what to download... What a mess!

Even when i download the mods again, many of them keep disappearing again after restart.. Sync problems?

Played again yesterday for the first time in months. All my mods were unsubscribed but they were all still there to resubscribe too.

Yeah, got this as well.

Fortunately I don't have many mods besides the official ones and some of the menu background from previous events.

Until yesterday the only mod getting this problem is the menu mod of the current event, now it's widespread.

My mods keep getting unsubscribed after re-entering steam. I have resubscribed many times but every time they keep getting unsubscribed.

Why is it a never ending game issues, if not game crashing then it's something?
