Do somebody know how to avoid activate the timer in Gajah Mada mission 5?

I read some guides of mission 5 and they said as long as you reached the green part, the timer start. But in definitive edition, you will automatically control the green part while reached the purple and get the Villager.

I am a little bit confused because does it mean that we cannot avoid the timer at all? Should it be true it was really a tough one for those who like to develop and explore the map....

You avoid to activate the timer in Gajah Mada mission 5
as long as you do not approach a Town or Military Base.
As in every Mission you can make a Plan by looking at the Map.
Exit Mission and return to Map.
You can even get more of the map and win without losses
if you use and delete the starting Units.
In this Mission you can take out a lot before approaching a Base:
1. Delete the dying starting Units. Research Bracer at the Blacksmith. Build a Transport Ship.
2. Load your 8 Archers 4 each in the 2 central Towers, delete the Gate and take all Units to the South Corner at eastern side.
3. Wait to take out 7 Landing Boats and take out the Cannon Gallons with your Fire Ships.
4. Lure Enemy land Units with your Hero in your Ships and destroy Enemy Bases.
5. Use only small Units you can heal in your Towers.
6. Destroy the Ship sending Base.
...
9. Clear with your Ships the Way for Trading and the Eastern Bases.
Collect Food with Ships and Gold with Trade Ships as long as you want
before starting the Endgame.
You can win Endgames easiest with Elephants, Castles, ...

It seems a once good strategy game changed with bugs for ADHD kids.
Actually I see no strategy in these Videos.

You resurrected a year old thread just to give us your opinion? Fine, ... but there was no need to insult anyone. The maker of the video used A strategy. The OP also used one. That you don't see any strategy is your problem.

It is no insult to state the facts and no opinion.
I wondered about the timer right now.
It is prooven that the timer has been bugged and the OP did not solve the bug properly.
And even the guy making Videos getting money just looses all his troops with no strategy.
All he does is booming and being fast. Like in a shooter game.
And you did not answer the Question asked.

No, you stated opinion as fact. It is YOUR opinion that no strategy was employed. That is proven false at 4:16 of the video where Ornlu states 'you can go in two directions' he chose one.

The OP thanked me for providing that link as it enabled him to see a means of winning. btw Ornlu usually plays on Hard... can you? The game demands that we use a strategy to win.

You are the 3 rd guy in the row:
1. Guy: OP did not solve the bug properly.
2. Guy: Paid guy makes video going around the bug.
3. Guy: Does not answer the Questions asked about the bug.
Where do they get these OP not able to solve simple bugs?
