make sure every supply ship to dock.
send trooper to ally.
sell your manor.
While you are waiting for the transport ships to be created and to actually send the army to the coastal commander, use the market as needed to get 2000 gold to repair the acropolis.
By repairing the Acropolis and killing the coastal commander you will be at or near 100 favor. Now the next thing you want to do is save for prosecute cleon to reduce the rate at which favor decreases.
You also want to make 5-7 galleys and a catapult ship to reinforce salamis and defeat the invading Spartans. Simply do this and keep the army at their port and you can defend Salamis twice over the course of the level.
When tribute ships appear in the West, you get 2 ships to defend on moderate and 4 on standard. Defend the tribute ship until it reaches Athens. If the ship arrives safely you get much needed resources. If its destroyed, you lose the potential resources and also lose favor.
Make extra ships as needed to defend the tribute ships but don't go crazy.
Because at some point you need to make 20 Hoplites to reinforce Orange in the Top Corner. And 20 Lancers to reinforce the orange town closest to Athens. These quests will reward a one time favor bonus. Though be warned if you take too long, Sparta will attack both towns. You need to send the Army before the Spartans come back to siege Athens.
When Sparta retreats from Athens, send the two scouts to collect the resource piles with smoke where the Athenian villagers are rebuilding. You get much needed resources. This can be done more than once. Each resource pile is 200 food, 200 wood, or 200 gold.
Have 1000 Wood to deal with the Plague. 2000 Food for the Festival (can be done twice). And sell Pericles Estate if you have to boost favor. This lowers the passive income of Wood, Food, and Gold per minute but you get a huge favor boost.
Be prepared to also kill 1-2 more Spartan commanders. And be prepared that you may have to use transports to leave the city if the Spartan army is besieging Athens.
Alternative methods include the Raid Peloponnesian Coast. Must provide 10 ships in the flags. But this has to be timed as your favor won't increase from a successful raid for over 10 minutes.
I sold plenty of resources to put that douche on trial early.
I even fu.... up and only sent 19 troops to the most northern city, and left the tribute chart I paid for in my base the entire game and still (barely) made it
First played everything on the standard level of difficulty and implemented the tips from Plokmijnuh so far.
Everything worked out, but now I play on "means" and I failed in the third choice.
In the first choice I had around 70, just 53 in the second and the last one with 43.
What do I do wrong? , is there a order of what to do when?
I will try Wipe's tips, let's see if it works on "medium".
