Best Custom campaigns to play

I recently played some and wanted to share:

1. The Imjin War - superb. I'm on 4th campaign, and all of them are different, hard, but beatable, and fun to play.
2. Ottokar - I would say medium fun. Mostly build mass and win.

Dislike:
1. Reconquista - each campaign is defend against mass enemies, and when you survive and they are spent counterattack.

There is a three part Julius Caesar campaign - I recommend them.

Also, Constantinople The Ancient World is a series of scenarios with some unique gaming elements.

Thank you for letting us know. The only custom campaign mods I have ever played besides the one involving Moses for ported RoR (which is an actual campaign because it has multiple missions) are ones that were included on Victors and Vanquished dlc, Also, another thing that annoys me (especially the ones that are similar to Victors and Vanquished dlc) is that many of the custom campaigns on AoE II: DE are not actual campaigns.

i always recommend Three Kingdoms 1, 2 & 3. selectable factions at the start like nobunaga, also by filthydelphia. all chinese civs but lots of tweaks to techs and units to make them feel very different. lots of obvious replay value, i think there are 26 different factions in total.

apranik and tomislav are also both excellent. well designed, full voice acting, excellent gameplay, managed to balance being very challenging (especially last apranik mission - easily one of the hardest missions i've ever played!!) with being fun. 100% fits in with the very best campaigns on the official game, you'd be hard pressed to tell it isn't a custom campaign.
