I disabled all overlays and it stopped my crashing. Disabled MSI afterburner, Steam Overlay and Discord. Not had one since.

I could not say for certain but, I was getting BSoD's in the last PUP build. However, I think it was hardware related. (There might be a chance it's still possible but, I have yet to get one lately either so... Probably not.) Just be sure all your firmware/system is up to date and hopefully, it will be fine.

edit: as for crashes, they generally are not too common. (I found ways to intentionally crash the game but, not indirectly.)

correct
To be honest, and I'm not saying you are wrong by any means. But a blue screen is a sign of severe issues with the game and your system hardware. Specifically the way it interacts. Which is usually hardware related in the case of this being an issue less people have than people do. I've had performance issues and freezes temporarily but never a blue screen.

-Generally speaking, BSODs are usually PC specific just a FYI.
