The overall most favorite civ regardless of elo according to aoestats are the Mongols. There are many reasons why they seem to be a favorite civ including them being a good civ especially for early to mid game when it comes to its overall civ bonuses and an overall good tech tree that allows at least some flexibility. I do not have a personal favorite civilization yet; although, having a favorite civ(s) I think is overall less subjective than the "best civ" or "best faction".

So why can't I play Mongols? This faction does not exist in my game.

That is weird and very unusual. Mongols are basegame to AoE II: DE. So you do not even have a Genghis Kahn campaign?

Yes I remember them being part of every AoE I have ever played. Hence I was surprised to not find them in AoE2 Defintiive Edition.

Maybe some bug ?

Not even a Genghis Kahn campaign? I do not have this bug.

There is a Genghis Kahn campaign but when I go into skirmish, I can't see them anywhere. The only thing close I see are the " Tartars ".

I double checked skirmish just now and I am not missing Mongols. I do not have this bug.

LMAO I had been reading posts in the X4:Reunion Forum and thought i was still in there. This is a direct result of the UI changes Steam put in place a while ago. Previously I could list my posts in each Forum separately. Now I have to make sure I am not addressing someone in another Forum. An idiotic change as far as I am concerned.

No way they are all God's creation whereas in X4 I just don't see the appeal of playing as an alien. What threw me was your mention of Factions. X4 has several aliens plus factions of humans. In AoE I usually see them described a as race or villagers.

While we are at it, how do I report players ?

I am playing ranked and some dude spams markers all the time and now builds a wall around me so I cant play properly!!
