Do the DLCs ever go on sale?

I'm just getting back into AOE and was wondering if the DLCs ever go on sale? If not I'll just suck it up and buy them. But I always love a good deal if I can get one. :)

Yes they go on sale from time to time

Do note that starting from RoR the base price for DLC has increased, this applies to Mountain Royal as well. All previous DLCs remain as the old price

Are you new to Steam? DLC discount sales are frequent and I am assuming that you are new to Steam, but even if not willing to wait for them the prices are quite reasonable in comparison to much more expensive games than AoE II: DE. The biggest issue with these dlc packs I think have more to do overall with quality than how much it costs.

If you already have the Rome one (which is arguably the worst dlc but not terrible either in my opinion despite its mixed reviews) you should probably get all the others as well including even Mountain Royals. In my personal opinion none of these dlc packs are too expensive even when they are not on sale, but probably some people are going to wait anyway for the next discount sale before buying.

Yeah, they go up for a pretty good discount. At least every seasonal sale.

Have you ever tried gg deals? Go to the site and search Age of Empires 2, there the dlcs go for like £3-£4 for older ones, and latest ones discounted. You're welcome!

Yes absolutely even on Steam. Most of the times they even sale it for 50%.
