In AoE3 DE, pros are asking for AoE2 style Patrol to replace Attack Move.
But so like, I recently started using attack move, and it feels like patrol would serve the function better for regularly attacking since my dudes seemed to wander off much more than when they're regularly patrolling my gates or something. I imagine that atleast with patrol, if I accidentally forget about them for a second after attacking with it, I'll see them walking together along a path instead of lost and alone, slashing some house that wasn't -really- all that close to where I told my blob of soldiers to move.
