Any of the old custom maps still around?

I used to love the old custom maps like castle/tower wars or smosh etc. Anyone ever make them in the new aoe?

I cant seem to find any of those types in custom lobbies.

Sort of... Some people/modders like to revive old scenarios. Progress is slow though in most cases. (Generally though, you can just grab it from the old HD/CD versions and try to load it in the game. In general, it should load. Backwards compatibility was one of their priorities when making DE.

You mean Castle Blood? People still play it in the custom lobby.

there was this one map, it was like an 8 player race split in sections, with lots of use of walls and rocks and trees to block off areas.

it was long ago since i last played it, back in the msn network days.

I remember that one. It was fun. Cant remember the name tho.

that's what it was called? huh. i had been looking around without success for years so it's nice to know the name. Odd thing with memory the way it is, on starcraft back in the day on battle net in custom maps, i remember dodge the larvae as the map name even though i remember it as strongly as to the finish.
