Sorry. You have lost connection to multiplayer services

Immediately after the most recent update, I can no longer play multi player. Nothing in my settings has changed, just the update to the game.

Steam, AoE2 are allowed through the firewall etc. Never been an issue in the past, in fact, played just last week.

The most frustrating thing about this, is that I don't even WANT to play ONLINE!!! I want to play a LOCAL AREA NETWORK game with my Wife! -.- Why on earth do I need "online services" to freakin' play LOCALLY anyways? I should be able to make a LAN game offline without steam even.

-After updates usually you need to remove the game exceptions. And then reset them up from scratch. Can try that, otherwise, I've seen support asking for players in your shoes to reach out to them.

Thank you for the response, and attempt to help. I removed AoE2DE and re-added it, still persists. Even if I turn the firewall off, it still persists.

So if you've really turned off your firewall, you can reinstall your pc right away because it's been infiltrated....

also have same issue. Every time I start AOE I have the button saying I have to reconnect to Multiplayer Services. Clicking on it does nothing. Has been like that since the Romans event started.

Hello, me too. The game exit suddenly. I recently added the Graphic Pack and I can't finish any multiplayer match. The game exit in the middle of the game

Same issue here. And I even get punished because the game thinks I drop in matchmaking. FIX THIS PLEASE
