There you go, have fun.
There's no general best civ as it depends on the map and matchup. But generally speaking, Franks are straight forward and strong.
-Mayans are the best pro civ, but have SEVERAL BRUTAL HARDCOUNTERS, to keep them in line, that they are almost helpless against, if the opponent has similar skill to yours.
- Good beginner Civ, strong on almost every map and every opposing Civ
Portuguese
- Strong on almost every map, thought just slightly above average on hybrid maps with small ponds
They have a strong early game thanks to +2 LOS on their Scouts and faster hunt, and a strong end game thanks to their Drill (Siege) Onagers, Mangudais, Hussars deathball.
They were not considered to be one of the big guys because they have a weak Castle Age... until people figured out how strong Castle Age Steppe Lancers are.
They are strong on open maps, hybrid maps, water maps and above average on closed maps.
Tell me their percentage of winrate then for multiplayer. Also need to take into an account their unique civilization and tech bonuses as well. A pro player especially I would like to think would be very good at playing as the Britons on multiplayer. Also, what map(s) do Britons work best with for multiplayer? Arena maps? Black Forest maps? You also did not specificy if you were referring to Britons, Malays (obviously work best with multiplayer water maps, but might also be descent for other maps as well), or Franks; although, I think that Franks can be ruled out since you mentioned them earlier.
There you go.
