Report a translation problem
- you should play scouts->knights->paladins on pocket (when there are teammates left and right). Add a few elite skirmishers if your teamate isnt helping and the opponent got pikes/camels.
- On Flank (next to an opponent) you should play archers->crossbows->HCavArchers (only start with cav archers in late castle age, in early castle you should make crossbows).
- Do not make 2 TC boom on Flank
- Only make 2TC boom as pocket on Arabia if the allies are communicating in a 4v4 (so no 2TC boom if allies arent communicating).
- You can 2 TC boom on lombardia if you and your teamates are teamwalling early.
- if you are pocket and make knights, try to run around the map and pressure and only fight skirmishes where you should easily win or when your teamates are there. Maybe defend your base (walls, castles, etc) very well if teamates arent communicating and helping at all. If you can force fights to happen at allies bases and send your army there, it will be closer to a teamfight than if the fight is in your city and nobody helps you.
- I think most advices you need arent related so much with your civ besides the 2TC boom option.
Knight Rush
Feudal Rush with rams
I do try raiding with knights but I have been going for cavalry archers and kipchaks to raid if my knights cannot get to the enemy vills
With Cummans, you make 2nd TC on Feudal, if your booming, you lose the timing for a knight Rush on castle but you get a superior economy and should be able to amass a superior army thanks to your better economy.
If your not rushing you should make a army composition that forces your opponent in the wrong way, like by example, making cavarchers may force your opponent to make skirms which can easy counter by hussars.
By making a 2nd TC you lose all rush potential.
I find that going for no rush strategies makes you a better player but makes you a lower elo players, if your 900 you could easy make it to +1k with Rush strategies.
On 1vs1 of course.
In my personal experience I love cummans for booming, they are just not BiS for other strategies, their feudal age rush with rams makes it quite interesting since experienced players may assume your 2 TC booming and then see a army with siege on their door.
But try to fast castle if I can
When you click up use your TC with less useful/further resources as your ageing-up TC and keep the vils coming from the better TC. The moment you hit castle youve got access to an answer to mostly everything at the stable and kipchaks. I like steppelancer+camel+kipchak mix, when your eco upgrades start pulling you ahead throw in some skirms, pikes and rams. If youre up against Mongols go heavy with Kipchaks they are the GOAT counter to Mangudai.
There's no fix for bad allys and poor communication unfortunately, unless you tech into writing in chat "useless team" and follow up with a fast-resign strat, there's literally 0 counter to it.
I practically lost alot of troops as Slavs last night in arena in a team game I was producing xbows and skirms with some siege support I know they have bonus Vs siege.
But if they are kept occupied dealing with archery units my siege if I have enough of them can wipe out many units I also made pikes to deal with light cavalry that was sent to me.
I tried to knock out an enemy with siege rams and infantry in them by battering walls down and then breaking into enemy town and destroying their eco in a hope they surrender so my allies could focus on other enemy mainly Mongol one.
Me and my allies win though eventually
