Where did you hear that from? They're working on a console version.
Thank you for your post. Age of Empires II requires Windows 10 or above to play. There have been no announcements regarding a Mac version. However, Age of Empires II will be coming to console: https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2022/10/25/the-console-age-is-coming-to-age-of-empires/
Xbox supports Mouse and Keyboard for ages now.
Lots of port forwarding, enabling DMZ just to have someone be able to host. I even have a FB group of the remaining mac players. But we're all on PC now, 10.6.8 was the last version that aoe2 worked on for macintosh. I think apple is now 10.18 or somethin? I lost track since high sierra.
But ye, it was somethin about Apple dropping support for "Rosetta" w/e that is, that made aoe2 no longer able to run on future operating systems.
