Best suggestion would be to select the group of units, then hold the control key, and click on the icons in the selection queue to de-select all of the healthy units, then bring the injured ones to retreat to the monks.
It'll take a few seconds, but it's better than hovering your cursor over each individual unit to select the ones you want.
You can also go to your Options, under the interface tab I think (Or graphics) and enable health bars to show "always".
Depends on the ratio wonded/full health or really healthy in your current selection.
If it'd make you feel better about a hotkey like this, I'd be fine with it being disabled for MP games.
Idk, selecting only injured units doesn't seem like a bad idea at all, it would just make things easier to accomplish, aka QoL improvement.
