What AddOns do I need?

Hello, I want to buy AOE:DE with the complete content.

Is it enough to buy AOE:DE (main game) + Dynasties of India (AddOn) or do I also have to buy Dawn of the Dukes and Lords of the West?

Also: When I buy the game on Steam, which ranking can I join? Or is there another gaming platform where I can buy the game to join another (probably more aktive) ranking?

There are 35+2+2+3 civilisations in AoE2 currently, base game + Dukes expansion + West expansion + India expansion.

All the pro players play on steam so I would not look anywhere else. Unless you mean with "ranking" something else than competitive play.

Main game is enough for competetive play. Just buy the main game, it is more than enough campaign and multiplayer content. After playing for a while you could decide to buy more. But to start it's not worth or necessary.

In terms of banks per bucks, the Indian expansion is the best. The other add redundant Euro civs. Just get them if you really want to play as them.

The game is crossplay with MS Store / Gamepass, so if you have the crossplay option enabled (it is by default) you should be good to go.
