Campaign maps for scenario?
Is there any possibility to import the campaign maps into scenario editor? I would love to make a map for balanced multiplayer games out of those great campaign maps :)

Are you able to copy them over to the scenarios folder? I'm not sure if the campaigns are the same file type. Should be (.aoe2scenario). It's worth a shot.

Copy-paste campaign files(.aoe2campaign) from their original folder into the custom campaign folder. After you select them in scenario editor the game puts their scenarios into your custom scenario list.

The custom campaign folder:
C:\Users\[your username]\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\[some number]\resources\_common\campaign

Unfortunately there has been another problem. It works for most campaigns. But I have no idea why it does not work for the newer ones. All Lords of the West, Dukes of the East, and Dynasties of India campaigns do not show in the editor. Do any of you have any idea what could be the problem?

DLC campaigns are .GPV format which is not exractable

If you don't know where you installed the game then open Steam and right click the game. From the list select "Manage" and then select "Browse local files". From there follow path: resources -> _common -> campaign

If you want to play imported scenarios with original AIs then you have to get them separately. They are extracted to "C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\Temp\AOE2DE_Temp" when you start any scenario in the game. Copy-paste everything except folders from there to resources -> _common -> ai, figure out which per-files represent ai players and create for each of them a new file with identical name but with ".ai" extension instead of ".per". The content of those ".ai" files doesn't matter. AIs will now appear in scenario editor.
Preferably create some backup folder so that you don't have to guess which files were in the ai-folder initially.

Well I did make the 4 scenarios (still need to do one more scenario of it till complete) of the Devapala campaign though they are missing the AI's for them, though I might share them once I'm done with it.
