Loved by some, hated by others. But there you have, Mayans no longer get Obs Arrows.

I wanna hear opinions about this. Personally, Obsidian Arrows needed to be nerfed or something, but I'm not sure if they had to be gone for good.

Replacing Obsidian arrows tech with Skirmishers that throw two spears in one attack is an interesting choice. OA got a lot of love and equally a lot of hate with 20-30 arbalest effectively becoming a highly mobile siege unit. Depending if the second spear is the same damage as the first one - that could be quite devestating towards archer formations but also as they are a trash unit who will always now do a minimum damage of 2 (basically giving it 100% more attack against 7+ pierce armour units) Late game trash wars are going to be insane with Mayans with the halberdier.

unnecessary change imo. That obsidian arrows thing was hardly abused. But this new op skirms thing might me. Its not hard beating obsidian arrow arbalests. Just seige ram or skirm or onager any of the natural archer counters. Its not like their hp is increasing or something. theyres still glass cannons

New tech is really bad though, the second javelin is really inaccurate and only does 1 damage
