I don't think that's what he was asking about.
You want to select the type of vegetation, right?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The vegetation is randomly generated.
There's a filter option for season but nothing else sadly as far as I know.
I would also like to have this option when playing skirmishes against the AI.
A lot of standard maps use different vegetation types (or biomes, climate zones etc.) already. One of my favourite maps, Highlands, is now available with Mediterranean or African vegetation, for example. That's awesome
A few days ago I played as Burgundians and selected only Western European civilizations for the AI. Unfortunately, I got a jungle map with jungle trees and tigers instead of oak trees and wolfs.
That breaks my immersion
