max. zoom very small?

I´m playing the first time, AOE2 DE and I installed the Graphic DLC but my Zoom In seems to be still very small, is this the highest you can get?

Or do I have to change it somewhere? I remember that AOE2 was much better in Zoom in and you could see all better, but now even Stone looks so small or gold, that its easy to miss with the other stones.

There should be two ways to increase the zoom further.

a) You install the 4k textures, if you machine can handle them. It is a separate (free) DLC that you download and activate. It'll make everything twice as big (and more detailed).

b) Or you change the resolution in the game options to half your screen size, which will also make everything twice as big (but without installing the 4k graphics, so you don't need such a strong machine).

I don't know your screen size. If you got a 4k screen with 3840x2160 pixels, you can select half of that (1920x1080) in the game options to effectively double the size of the content.

Thanks for helping, yes I have installed that 4K DLC but thats all I can zoom seems a bit small. I can play it in 1080p but would be not the same xD

The graphics in the screenshot don't look like 4k. They should look better. Maybe you need to activate the 4k graphics in the mod list.

oh there is a mod list? yeahh then that could it be lol I just started the game

Edit: Okay I checked options again and UHD was not selected, now its much better thank you
