Achievement "Anyone Order a Pizza" not tracking

I've tried this several times. It isn't tracking. I'm still at 0 of 1,000. Anyone else having this issue?

-The trackers on Steam for aoe2de don't increment like other games for whatever reason.

This challenge is not working.
I think that it is because the achievement says "Condottieri" but in the game the name is "Condottiero"

I think the issue comes from a letter mistake. The achievement says "Condottieri" but in the game the soldier´s name is "Condottiero", im stuck there too

It's because condottiero (with the -o) is the singular of condottieri (with the -i); Italian grammatical rules state that the plural of a masculine noun (E.G. condottiero) is formed by changing the ending into -i.
There are some exceptions and the rule is more complicated than that, but it's a quick explanation of the differences between the two

Thats fine and all but i assume his argument was that its possibly because of that difference as to why steam isnt tracking it properly.
Maybe in the achievement logic it is coded in a way that it only tracks if the name of the produced unit is the same as for the achievement.
At least, i think thats what his thought was.
I personally am not sure that it works that way so i think it has more to do with some synchronizing and possibly Xbox Live being part of the deal.

All I know is I made well over a 1,000 of them in one game and it didn't unlock. Still sitting at 0.

I assume you all created them while NOT playing the Italian Faction, correct?

For me it once must have tracked, as i am sitting at around 200 or so. But i recently started to complete some leftover achievements and started games to finish this one but the progress wasnt tracked on Steam.

OF course, i chose goths with an italian ally, that way it allows you to train Condottiero in the barracks, but still nothing, there is something wrong since the update, hope it can get fix soon.

I also just tried it. I spammed on an infinite resources map until i had 500, killed all of them, trained another 500, killed them and trained another 500.
Nothing.
Other achievements are tracking properly. Im not saying all of them, but i have done some with a counter (like killing people with mangonels, exploring a gigantic map by 99% or building 500 longbowmen in one match).
They all worked fine half an hour ago.
But the Condottieri, nope.

Just make a lot a barracks and start creating Condotieros. If u want to get rid of the population, make some onagers and attack ground where you put your gather point for the condos. Quick way of getting the Mango Shots achievement too.

I built like 10 barracks or so, set the waypoint to one spot to come out to and made 2 onagers. I let shoot one from the left and one from the right into the middle. As the condotieros kept spawning most just got killed that way. I just kept refreshing the creating units queue. Achievement popped after some minutes.
