New Civ Idea: The Eskimos (neglected civ)
They dominated the North and now I propose a free DLC for AOE II DE called: "Kings in the North" featuring Eskimos.

All buildings will be igloos.

Reindeer horseman - self explanatory
Heavy Trapper - just a fat dude in furs who can spin and cause damage from his flailing arms
Whale Archer - this will be a boat unit
Cold-feet skier - this is a fast infantry unit who wears skies

It'll be fun to call the Mill the "Moe's Tavern" - a little in-joke for Simpsons fans.

And of course: their favorite map will be the one with ice and snow.

As much of a trollpost this may be, one of the original devs wanted to include the Inuit (eskimo) with a Kayak UU that specialized in destroying enemy UU ships.
They beat the Vikings.

first the Real term is Inuit

that aside yeah sounds like it would be a neat idea to play as a hunter gather faction as you survive against the colonial super powers.

The colonial superpowers in AoE2's timeline are the Saracens and Berbers, neither of which fought the Inuit.

Colonial Age is AoE3, AoE2 only touches the very beggining of that era.

Also, if they made the Inuit (which I do not think they will, but would certainly appreciate if they did) it would be a settled civ like all others, for gameplay purposes.
They even made the Huns a settled civ, so there is a huge precedent, since the Huns did not even farm.

u do realize that his is either a troll post or sarcastic, just the way it is worded makes it sound sarcastic to me

No. You're mistaken about the term. Inuit is a just one of the TYPES of Eskimo. From Wikipedia:
"Eskimo (/ˈɛskɪmoʊ/ ESS-kih-moh) or Eskimos are the indigenous circumpolar peoples who have traditionally inhabited the northern circumpolar region from eastern Siberia (Russia) to Alaska (United States), Northern Canada, Nunavik, Nunatsiavut, and Greenland.

The two main peoples known as Eskimo are the Inuit (including the Alaskan Iñupiat, the Greenlandic Inuit, and the diverse Inuit of Canada) and the Yupik of eastern Siberia and Alaska."

Now you know.

It's true the Saracens and Berbers didn't fight the Inuit but they didn't fight the Aztecs either.

Eskimos is a stupid idea, if u think it's better than Poland, you really have no idea what AoE is about

The original devs actually planned on adding an Inuit civ, with Kayaks as a Water UU, so it is exectly what AoE2 is about.

Any proof to back that up?
