Other than that, I don't remember how well the ai kites with them but halberdiers do a lot of damage to war wagons. If the ai kites consistently halberdiers are probably not the greatest option.
Camels do a really good job against war wagons, and knights are pretty decent.
War wagons do really low damage to siege, so you can use rams/trebs to kill all their castles and then just run hussars into their economy (war wagons don't do great damage to hussar either, they're just tanky. So it will take the ai a long time to clean up if they just have war wagons).
Avoid most ranged units, even including skirms. Well there's a few that could work ok (like if you have really good ones like mangudai), but for the most part they're not great against war wagons. Well alternatively if you're like Britons or something you could go for a decently fast imperial (war wagons are largely tanky vs ranged because of pierce armor, which is far less effective when you have bracer+arb and they don't have the last archer upgrade, and you should be able to hit imp faster because war wagons are kind of expensive to go for).
