Dracula Mission 3: Breathe of the Dragon

Has anyone passed it? I need a good strategy. I can’t seem to get through it on the easiest difficulty.

Same problem here. I almost beat that mission yesterday. I think best strategy is to destroy quickly that civ near the water with your galleons, and rush cargos to send your troops to the other weak civs. Let the grey civ for the last.

Good luck dude. It’s the last one I need to pass for the achievement. I ended up using cheats on it the first time. 😅

Ok I finally did after failing a couple of times. Its all about the navy.
upgrade the ships right away and attack LB destroying the town center.
click up to imp and attack yellow with ground forces.
After that you can research bombard cannon ships and you can take out the rest with those

Heres how i did it, for sure its hardest mission in Dracula campaign, after dealing with purple and take over the city, send your starting army and destroy green mining camps in the north to avoid the enemies spawm towers and castles at your back, then go for yellow lumber camps to cripple enemey navy. After that build a town center in north of your city and boom , after that should be more acessible, target orange mills after you have good economy and army, send a transport ship into their base, they should be easy to deal by sending a couple boyars.

Did you do lumber asap or what? Like did you queue workers for lumbercamps?

THIS X1000!!!! It worked.

BEFORE you attack purple, attack yellow with your cannons by snipping the castle from afar. Use your other troops as defense.

Then take purple, while you're building your navy, send your troops to attack mines. From there your navy should be strong enough to snipe teal (?) then take transports you get from yellow to take those canons to snipe the mills from orange. After that you can take on green and white.

That´s how Zura and me won. This is a great scenario to prove your skills and to try out different strategies.

Yeah, its a hard mission... I went the galleon, fireship route too, if you destroy their castles and town centers they give up immidietly. All towns except white can be destroyed from water. Aslong as you defend ground with castles and your gatherers you can take your time creating a navy to destroy them from the water. Only white "Derstova" needs to be destroyed by land, once you take down all the other towns you can build a bunch of boyars and trebs and sack the place.

I f*ckin did it!! When you take the purple city, wall the bridge and then go to the green village and destroy the 5 mine camps. Advance to Castle Age and go to the north with a villager. Raise a town center in the north and boom it (wood and stone). After that, focus on your navy and control the river. With cannon galleon destroy the withe castle and the wonder . Sorry for my poor english

take out yellow first, occupy the town centre (blue), start building stable, barracks etc. move villagers to yellow area, start farming and mining. Build two castles there on either side of the river, and start building a strong navy. By now should be in Imp age. Also destroy stone mines of green across the river. Now its only a matter of time. Also defend your township with as many castles as possible.

This is a very hard one if you play it as intended, even on standard. You have to cheese it.
Send your starting army to destroy Green's Castle. They'll resign and you'll get stone and two Villagers. Then send the surviving army to destroy Yellow's Castle. They'll resign and you'll get wood. Now you have all you need to build a Town Center, train more Villagers and boom.
1) The Green before Yellow is important, in particular on hard. If you wait too long to attack green, they'll be too strong for your starting army. Yellow is easier to handle.
2) Do NOT conquer the Purple city yet. Just leave it as it is. The moment you conquer it you'll have to deal with your enemies' infinite spam (Grey being worse than the other four combined) and not even doing the secondary objectives will be much help. As long as you don't conquer it, they'll be completely passive and only train a few units.
3) You only have to destroy Cyan and Orange's Town Centers, so that's an easy one: send a Transport Ship with five Petards to each village and it's done.
Now you only have Grey, the strongest enemy. Again, do NOT conquer purple. Instead, build a Navy to take down as much enemy buildings as possible with Cannon Galleons. They don't rebuild so you get control of the river. Then train a big army of Boyars and Trebuchets, conquer the Purple city and then move forward and defeat Grey.

PS: I'm sure the devs were aware of this otherwise they wouldn't give us two Villagers after defeating Green.

Go outside of your base, make multiple TCs and boom. Protect your outside TCs with Castles. Go up to Imp, take water, transport with villagers and make production buildings next to grey's base and kill him.
