Is it possible to have the original soundtrack of the game ? The new one is not so good in my opinion...

The pavlovian response from them is half of my enjoyment of the game.

I hope someone makes a mod for the original sounds.

I actually really dig the new soundtrack, especially the civ-specific music that opens every game. I've been trying to hunt through the folders to find the music files, but haven't had any success.

Is there not a setting in Audio Options to choose the soundtrack? I remember seeing 4 options but cannot recall what each was.

Has anyone found further information on wheter AOE2de allows us to use HD soundtrack? I see from youtube videos that there's a select playlist option on the Settings screen but it doesn't seem to include HD/Classic soundtrack. Is it possible for someone to make a mod of the old soundtrack or do you think the devs will bring it back in a future update?

I think the audio (soundtrack, unit sounds, campaign narrators and voice actors), the main menu UI and the absence of a classic graphics option are things holding me back from buying this game. It's a shame because I want to try out the new civs and see the quality of life upgrades. For the moment, I'll stick with AOE 2013 until I see how the devs respond to the community's feedback on these retro classic options...

I don't think I could play the game knowing that I could never hear La Hire's original voice actor say "La Hire's sword is not bloody enough!"

it sucks big time nobody even modded any of these, come on community, stop sleeping! :/ this isn't my idea of "definitive"
