Why aren't my starting sheep within view?

Recently had a number of games where my starting sheep aren't within view right away so I have to scout around for them. Has anyone else found this?

That has been a feature since this game originally released. It's not a bug. It's only a bug if you have no sheep spawn at all.

It's just part of the RNG of this game.

Sometimes i got 2 groups of sheep at starting point. Is this some kind of positive RNG or tied towards special map / game mode? I don't remember, if it was on siege, king, standard idk

Adapt bro, take wood in the meantime, scout with one vil until you find your sheep.

The type of map you play on can cause more groups of sheep and boars. Similar to how some maps you'll have lots of trees while other maps will have barely any.

DE moved the sheeps closer to the TC, but its never guaranteed in TCs line of sight.

For that matter the boar are also near to TC, but they can't gurantee that you won't die of boar kill. 11

man people will complain about anything wont they? its just sheep. move your villagers around for like 5 seconds and youll find them... if you arent willing to do that, there is a problem.

I played the classic original CD version of AoK a few days ago on my retro machine... I only had 4 sheep, and not even 1 boar near my TC XD. They have greatly improved this stuff. Also the hard AI was easier than moderate on this version.
