Ivanyo Mission III: "Tsar of the Bulgars" *Help*
I cannot comprehend the design of this scenario. I understand that it's meant to be difficult, but this is unbelievable. The player starts with 10 units and has to race towards your allies before an allied unit is killed. Ok. If you simply right click there you will face annoying cavalry archer patrols on the way. In addition, the crossing is guarded by two catapults, along with another force of cavalry archers. I receive control of the base and I am instantly beaten by a continuous force of cavalry archers from both the Yellow AI and Red AI.

I resign and decided to scout the map. After investigating, all three crossings are guarded by significant groups of enemy cavalry archers. There's a boat to the far west of the map where you can cross safely to the base with just a little HP left on the allied unit. However, it's still the same ending. I am rushed by a crap load of cavalry archers and the outlying units. My starting force I receive can't even deal with one group of the enemy before it completely dies. Building more units isn't enough. The gate to the base gives out and it's open season.

I am hoping some folks could assist me or guide me to a discussion with an answer. Thanks in advance.

Yeah. that is one of the toughest mission in the entire campaigns in DE if you didnt make use of some objectives.
As You can in the objective tap,
Cumans and Tartars become your allies provided that you kill 3 purple units in each base even tho it was hard for me to notice this when I first played through.
And that is the KEY. Once you make red your ally the games gonna be much ez-er

You are required to build at least krepost or Castle ASAP in the early stage And blockade them with some houses
I prefered jebaiting mongols into castle ,with skirms garrisoning and kill 'em all
so thay the university remain undestroyed until chemistry is upgraded.
I spammed full-upgraded cavalry archers and Hussars + some skirms/trebs.

If I had to play the mission now, i'd sell most gold for stone and build a castle / kreposts immediately.
And I'd wander around the red& green bases to make 3 purple units in each cumans and tartars base out of the wall and focus on killing them.

Firstly build 2 castle or krepost with garrison about 30 horse archer asap in order to protect your university and market. Both are extremely important for defense.
When you have about 60 or 70 cav archers and about 10 konniks to destroy enemies siege weapons, send 40 cav archers to kill 3 khan in red and green base when you have researched armor and attack upgrades and enough garrison units in castle to kill enemies.
Ignore Everything except the khan when you wanna turn these two become your ally.
After this, everything will be pretty ez
I appreciate all the advice. I read Pakan's first and won that way, using kreposts and heavy cavalry archers. Thanks.

Yeah, this worked, Went straight for the transport ship in the east and rode off towards the duel, made castles inside the gates to defend as quickly as possible, made a massive army of Cavalry archers and Koppniks and 5 trebs, completely annihilated Red -> Green and finally yellow. You don't even need them as allies lol, just sack their bases.
