What is the Enhanced Graphics DLC and how do I install it?

I noticed the main menu exclaims that the "Enhanced Graphics free DLC" is not installed. Not super worried about it but I am definitely curious. What is it and how do you install it? The properties for the game doesn't have a DLC tab and I'm not seeing any DLC options anywhere in the game... stuff.

I will be the first person to admit that I'm really kinda dumb when it comes to stuff like this but I'm thinking something is broken.

Oh. Meh. I did notice that most of the icons in the game are squished to the point where they're barely legible. Also, the arrows sound like bottle rockets x_x

How do you install it tho?

After you add it from the store, you need to right click AoE 2 DE in your games list and go to Properties. Go to the DLC tab and hit the checkbox next to the graphics dlc on the list.

It's such a horrible, round-about way. Not well thought out on their end.

I don't have DLC in the game Properties, why? And how to enable me this pack?

For the Noobs who were searching for the DLC like me, you gotta download the dlc on Steam and than manually install it!
