Transfering to new PC

Hi guys,

Newly transfer to a new PC. Wondering if I could transfer my profile (campaign progression, hotkey assignment, mods suscribed) on my new PC via a copy from the old one?

Update 1: After copying the hotkey file to my new PC, I notice a little menu in upper right corner of hotkey page in-game, which allowed me to select my grid profile. Still unable to re-establish my campaign progression so far, any help would be appreciated.

Save files are probably done on the cloud by default, so Steam will gracefully annoy you with its message where it'll ask whether you want to upload the new files on your new computer or download the ones from your old machine. If that's not happening, then just copy-paste the save folder's contents. Mods subscribed are probably profile-related and don't need any of this.

So far logging in, all that was transferred over is the mods suscribed list. I went to my old PC and transferred the whole profile folder, but oddly enough, only my save games are transfered, the hotkeys and campaign progression is not. Any advices?

I'm having the same issue and not figuring out how to sync the two PC's (game play, saved games, scenarios)

Did you try back up and restore games. There's an option at the top of the steam client. I've never used it before though so I can't attest to whether or not it would solve your problem

That's a really good point. I missed that but I guess now that I played on both machines, it will wipe my progress on one of them if I do that unless there's something that merges the two?

The backup and restore basically does the whole game. It won't work in my case. I only want to merge played games/scenarios from both computers. Hopefully in a future release.

You can find the scenarios if you follow that file path, just put em on a flash drive and put them in the same directory on your other computer, or you can email them to yourself.
