Can I play with Chromebook?

I have just installed and purchased Age of Empires II, and I cannot start playing. Any possible solution?

Very few applications/games are supported on Chrome OS. Chromebooks are mainly designed for using web applications/surfing, not running standalone applications. Chromebooks are basically a dumber smartphone, a cheap alternative to surfing the web. Even if this game was supported on the chromebook operating system it would likely run extremely poorly as the hardware in chromebooks is usually designed for lightweight/easy workloads like surfing the internet.

TL;DR: No you cannot play on Chromebook.

While Far<3 is still right about AoE 2 not being available on Chromebooks, this platform has now gotten much better at gaming. For example, Civilization V is a similar game to AoE and it does run on Chromebooks. In fact, I am just installing it on mine...
