How to unlock profile icons?

For example, I won a game against the computer in a single player match, and the profile icon, which says "Win 1 game to unlock", isn't unlocked. Do I have to play against other players, or can you unlock it just by playing againts computer?

-I believe those are multiplayer.

I see, thank you for the response! I'm only playing single player, so I'm not going to use those. :)

Whats the point for getting the icons for MP only tho?

The icons are used in SP too.
