Xbox game pass for PC and Steam crossplay

So I'm playing the game from xbox game pass for pc and 3 of my friends play from Steam .
But I cant find their servers. Crossplay is enabled I guess because I can see xbox logos next to people's names when looking for servers.
Please find a solution for this wtf bro

You can invite them in various ways ( or they invite you ) all can log on Xbox live account or fundate your own CLAN and on Lobby you have invite button and here you can select Steam Friends, Xbox friends or Clan members...

In any case, I think the Lobby do not work correctly and do not show all the games properly.

Hi, I am having a similar issue. My friends have it from the Microsoft app and I use Steam. I signed in the XBOX app; they are able to invite me and see that I have the game on but once I click on accept the invitation it says that I require an app to proceed and it takes me to the Microsoft app store to buy AoE2.

I have checked the enable crossplay function. Tried to create a clan but it seems I am unable to conclude the creation.
