But I noticed Saladin mission 2 is difficult, Cyan even advances to Castle Age, in the '99 version, they were locked to Feudal, only Blue advances to Imp AFAIK

You see, almost all campaign missions are like: collect resources, build up your economy and tear stuff up... You just get so many special parameters thrown left and right, unlike RM or DM which try to hit the equilibrium mark.
idk how the dev defines these Campaigns difficulty
Perhaps just some missions are harder and the rest have no difference since AoK
You know that curved scimitars have higher chance of doing damage when thrown in comparison to straight swords:)
