Fire with fire achievement?

Is it bugged? i waited forever for the craftsman to send 10 bombard cannons. And i recruited over 10 Genose Crossbowman and 10 Condotteiri. Unless it means only recruit 10 of each? Took 2.5 hours of gametime for me to get the 10th bombard cannon so I really do not want to try again unless I know it can be done. Thank you for any help.

It is 10 or more. Are you sure none of them died?

it just says field 10 condottierei, 10 genose crossbowman, and 10 bombard cannons in the 5th mission. I fielded over 300 condottieri cause was also working on the recruiting 1000 from a non italian civ and i had to wait forever for the 10 bombard and i had like 20 crossbowman

Just reattempted and got the achievement. I waited till i had 10 bombard cannons, used the 2 you get after tribute the food then waited for him to give me 8 more. After that i recruited exactly 10 of each from the Italians and got it.

for the italian condotierri achivement... just play as a random civ with italians as ally... then in the imperial age you can start making them in the barracks.

Yeah, this is broken. Got it by suiciding all my Genose Crossbowman and Condotteiri and then hiring more of them, lame.

Totally broken achievement. I have tried many times. "Suiciding all my Genose Crossbowman and Condotteiri and then hiring more of them" - does not help for me.

Look at my screen. 1,30 hours only and 10 bombards. People talking about 2,5 hours. So it means that developers have changed timer for creating bombards in last patch. It killed this achievemnt. Pls fix!!!

I have tried depot_813781 (27 November, version). Here low timer and need 2+ hours for getting 10 bombards. Still no achievement. Waited for 12 bombards also (because 2 were free).

What you did? Or not did? May be need to do something. Not attack blue enemy may be. Or hiring "Genose Crossbowman and Condotteiri" ONLY after getting 10-12 bombards.

Have tried from old save. Here 12 bombards (2 free - may be here). No luck.

May be, free bombards - problem is here. Need to kill them at first and only after - start to collect.

Nope, totally broken for me.

New campaign, new slot. Deleted 2 free bombards and collecting to 9. Save. 2 ways:

1). Waiting last 10 bombard. Next, hiring 10x other units.

Fail. Load.

2). Hiring 10x other units. Next, waiting the last tenth bombard.

No achievement at anywhere. Suiciding and hiring 30x other units - does not help.
Also, have played on RUS and ENG version.

Any advise?

I did it with the first 10 cannons (including starting 2) and I hired heaps of extra troops, more than 10. I used the time to dig the the castle 😜

Copy-paste my save file from main account to alt. Also no luck in curent version.
