Thanks for asking!
-It may work on boot camp with win 7. Nothing wrong with trying it right?
But assuming it doesn't work, I still have to choose a PC that will run it and I'm hoping to be in the 500-600 range, and a majority of machines at that price point have the UHD 630 even if they have a great processors like the i7.
So that still leaves me with my original question, will it run on the UHD 630?
Thanks to everyone who has commented so far.
At least in the US, I don't know about other countries
Did you finally get any answer to this question?
Just deactivated my dedicated graphics and ran the aoe2DE graphics benchmark on my integrated HD630 only and got 1205 points. Also i did not notice any lags in the benchmark and got about 40-45fps. So it should be fine. (sorry for being very late to the topic :D)
I tested the AGE2 DE on my 2015 MacBook Pro with Intel Iris 6100 and of course, it didn't work well. I was able to play, but I gave it back because it didn't make sense.
So it works, it works. It would have to do with your video card if it really works optimally.
