How can I host a LAN game?

In the multiplayer lobby i can filter for "LAN".
But when creating a new lobby there's no option for LAN.

How can I host a multiplayer game in LAN?

If you go to Multiplayer --> Lobby Browser --> Create Lobby, there is a drop down list for changing the server region. If you scroll to the very bottom there is an option to "Use Local Lan Server". I haven't tried it myself though, but it might be what you are looking for.

Also, this is from before the big patch, so not sure if they have changed this or not.

Thanks, I already thought it should be in the server option, but unfortunately, I don't see that option.

It seems a problem with proton under linux. In Windows the lan option is available. Probably BattleServer.exe isn't working. When I stop battleServer.exe on Windows i have the same behaviour.

I´ve just created a LAN game interesting that it is possible for most games are dumb without LAN, I did not play though waiting for patch for even though Win 10 CTD since last patch I do not like to experience again.

So you got BattleServer running now under linux? In the links you posted, there's no solution to make it work under linux.
