Report a translation problem
It's a good way for a beginner to get better at the game. It gives them a chance to properly think about what they are doing in the most optimal way. Also its a good way of learning build orders. Once you have learned how to execute the order optimally you can then wean yourself off using the pause button.
I've just started playing AoE definitive. Only want to do single player.
I can pause the game by pressing F3, but then can't give orders or even move around the map. Am I missing something?
Good thing you have resurrected this topic because the other one was fully of misinformation (not your fault, of course, the fault is within the people who provided such misinformation).
