The difference is Hungarian hussars didnt wear wings at all, not even ceremonial ones. So i guess you made my argument for me.
Im sure vikings didnt wear wings either. Would you be happier if they did?
Well then, don't forget to also name them Islander Viking, and deprive them of their "viking" nationality, assigning them to Island.
Or, to show it even more correct, change Samurai to Vietkong Samauri and made them Vietnamese. I'm pretty sure any japanese culture endorser will be ok with that for sure, 'cause it's just so small thing, and why all the nitpicking have so much place...
More so, Hussar should have Cataphract bonuses, 'cause they were the wreckage of the infantry, and devs gave them bonuses vs siege units?
It takes either ignorance or stupidity to do such a thing. Maybe they've smoked too much weed, Idk.
I think the answer to the problem could be the Britton Longbowmen having bonuses only vs the buildings, that should be just about right.
And I hope CDPREDs will snap the xbox game studios nose, making fun of them some day in the form of some easter egg. That could do the justice.
Hussars were never good against infantry unless they were ranged. Wouldn't make any sense to give hussars cataphract bonuses. And about viking horns, they also had them in hd edition, magyar huszars on the other hand they didn't have it. Until now they decided that every hussar unit be it vanila or magyar huszar shall have wings cos why the ♥♥♥♥ not.
To be fair, polish hussars were heavy cavalry that fought by charging the enemy formation. They were effective against pikes. Their lances were the most important part of their gear (ignoring the horse here). These lances were ~5 meters long - similar to the pike length. By this logic, cataphract bonuses wouldn't be that far from reality
Magyar huszar's lance was important too. But they weren't a heavy calvary and it's not polish hussars we are talking about, its feudal hungarian hussars who didn't have stupid wings. Polish and hungarian hussars were even recuited differently and they dont share much in common other than the word hussar and that hungarian hussars inspired the polish winged ones.
